Third Party Administration (TPA) of insurance claims and payments through CPP is a convenient and economic way to add horsepower to your admin team. TPA services include the daily submission of insurance claims and payment processing as well as claim tracking and claim follow-up as needed.

Unlike other TPA services that require users to manually create, transmit, and track claims/EOBs, the CPP solution uses an integrated module built directly into EDDSON. Users can quickly create and manage insurance payment batches for efficient and cost-effective processing by an experienced processing agent with knowledge of both insurance payment/claim management and using EDDSON.

Insurance Verification

Optimizing your practice’s revenue cycle and effectively managing patient expectations begins with accurate insurance estimating.  Unfortunately, accurate insurance estimating requires precise insurance information that can only be acquired through the time-consuming process of insurance benefit verification.  CPP’s IV Service offers an affordable and effective alternative to managing this cumbersome.  CPP’s IV agents are well versed and experienced in the verification process as well as updating associated EDDSON insurance data records.

New User Conversion

New user data conversions are never perfect – the lack of accurate insurance coverage information from the previous software can make an already messy and stressful post conversion environment even worse.  CPP’s conversion clean-up package is designed specifically to help new EDDSON offices get a head start on the this unavoidable clean-up process.

Services include the updating of selected insurance plan information (including coverage information and carrier allowed amounts) as well as coverage/benefit verification for existing appointments for the 1st 30 days after conversion as follows: 


  • Insurance Plan/Carrier coverage verification and updating – includes the top 30 plans based on associated patient counts (the 30 plans with the most associated patients).
  • Standard Appointment Benefit Verification – reduced fee verifications for all applicable appointments for 1st 4 weeks of business following conversion to EDDSON.
  • 2 hours of additional staff insurance training/consultation.

Insurance Payment Processing and Claims Administration

Insurance payment and insurance adjustment processing are managed and reported directly in the EDDSON practice management software and include:

  • Resubmission of outstanding claims and attachments, as necessary.
  • Weekly “Missed” claim review and submission, as necessary.
  • Review and analysis of outstanding insurance claims and aging totals as well as necessary carrier follow-up, claim resubmission, and appeal services for denied claims when appropriate. 
  • Provide updated summary reports at the end of each billing cycle.

3.50% of the total of all insurance payments processed by CPP.  Insurance payments processed by the user are billed at 1.75% of the total.

Claims Aging Clean-up Services

Insurance claim management and clean-up including:

 

  • Resubmission of outstanding claims and attachments, as necessary.

2.50% of the total of all insurance collections during the service coverage period.

Insurance benefit confirmation service includes all associated data entry as well as an integrated EDDSON module that enables user to make IV requests quickly without the hassle of the paperwork and manual processes typically required. The EDDSON IV management screen enables users to instantly review IV request totals and results for any date range.

Account management and patient billing services that includes:

  •  Account ledger audits and verifications.
  • Account statement generation and transmission to printing service (as applicable).
  • Collection facilitation and payment requests via text, email, and US Mail. 

Associated fees include a base monthly fee and a % of all “Net” collections as follows:
